CONSUP Appoints a New Chair

HALIFAX, NS – Professor Dianne Taylor-Gearing, President, NSCAD University, Halifax, NS, has been appointed Chair of the Council of Nova Scotia University Presidents (CONSUP).

Prof. Taylor-Gearing follows Allister Surette, Recteur, Université Sainte-Anne, Church Point, NS, who completed his two-year term as CONSUP Chair, June 30, 2016.

CONSUP is an advocacy organization representing Nova Scotia’s ten universities across the province.

Nine Atlantic Canadian universities participating in a MoodCheck Challenge: March 14-25

Students at nine universities across Atlantic Canada are checking their moods this March.

From March 14-25, students at participating universities are encouraged to use the MoodCheck app to track their moods. Twice a day, at random times, their phone will prompt them to check in and enter their mood, the activity they are taking part in, where they are, and who they are with.
